When you’re buying a house, your best friend can be Home Inspector Charlotte

Home Inspector Charlotte can let you know if you’re about to buy a lemon of a house or warn you about potential problems. At best, you can move into the house confident that it’s in good shape; at worst, the inspection report can let you back out of the deal if the house has major, unexpected problems.

What To Look For In A Home Inspector

  • Credentials and Experience. Generally speaking, “You should have had a hammer in your hand at some point in your background to have a good grasp of construction”
  • Have insurance?
  • Ask how long an average inspection takes, +- 3 hours  is about right.
  • Have a guarantee?
  • Ask if the inspector puts his findings into a narrative-style report; that’s what you want –
  • Ask to come along when the home is examined. Red flag would be if they don’t.
  • Do they walk the roof when possible?
  • Do they have the equipment to test for carbon monoxide,

How Can We Guarantee an Inspection?

It’s easy. We find more defects than our competition. The end result is that you save more money. Most contracts allow negotiations with the seller to make repairs or give you credit at closing. So the  more defects we find, the more money you save.

We don’t rush. This allows us time to do a thorough inspection of your new home or condo. This does NOT mean we charge  more, our prices are typically less then our competitors.

You Don’t want a cheap inspection. A cheap inspection may be the most expensive thing you’ll ever buy, it may cost you thousands of dollars down the road because of missed or overlooked defects.

Cheap home inspectors often know less and do less, which is one reason why they’re cheap.

The more thorough we are, the more defects we find, and the more money you save

If you’re not satisfied, we’re not satisfied.

That’s right, if you attend your Charlotte home inspection and you are not satisfied with the service we provided, just let me (Inspector John) know before accepting the report and there will be no charge for the inspection.
